We love hopping across Lake Michigan to our neighboring couples in the Windy City with this Chicago Rooftop Wedding.

Very rarely are we left speechless with a venue, however; with Inisfree Farm LLC we were. This venue is such a hidden gem in Pullman, Michigan. As we were driving up, I wasn’t too sure what to expect – but we are so glad Emily and Daniel hired us because, WOW!

There’s something special about the end of September in west Michigan. Tessa and Brad had a picturesque day to celebrate with their people deep in the countryside surrounded by lush greenery at the whimsical and elevated Millcreek Wilde.

What’s better than seeing your names lit up in lights outside of a theatre? …Renting out the entire Frauenthal theatre in Muskegon for your wedding!

I almost don’t have to write anything, you can just look at Emily and Laird’s photos and see that this was the happiest day of their life. But if you know Emily and Laird, I’m pretty sure every day is the happiest day of their lives.

We love that Grand Rapids has its own greenhouse for weddings where couples can get married all year long. McKenna and Jack’s day was filled with custom and heartfelt touches that made their day so relaxing and warm.

Shelley and Seamus were a freaking blast to work with! They were calm, cool, and collected (heavy emphasis on the cool)! You knew guests were ready to party with these two, some even made a trip all the way from Ireland! Now that is something special!

Michigan is surrounded by four of the five Great Lakes and we are the stewards of the nation's longest freshwater coastline boasting 3,288 linear miles. With that much shoreline, you would think the amount of Michigan wedding venues on the beach would be plentiful, but painfully this is not so.

As a lover of lavender, when we heard where Mary and Jake’s reception was going to be – it was an instant YES! Cherry Point Farm + Market is full of tradition and a great spot for a wedding.

Aside from the heatwave, this day was a step away from perfection (and that’s saying something)! Goldberry Woods provided the best space for their guests. Pine Row set the mood for the ceremony, and dinner under the stars was so dreamy.

Boatwerks weddings are some of my favorites. There are very few venues in Michigan where you are close enough to literally dip your toes in the water during cocktail hour.

The sweetest exchanging of vows took place in the greenhouse at Downtown Market. It’s never easy to read something so personal in front of others, but with the help of few tissues and some words of encouragement, it was a beautiful thing to witness.

You couldn’t paint a more perfect Michigan day. Blue skies, toes in the sand, calm waters, and the lighthouse creating the perfect backdrop. Lake Michigan was for sure showing off its beauty for everyone.

Downtown Market, even on a gloomy April day provided such a beautiful canvas. When the sun finally peaked through and started to set, all the little details shined through!

The architecture in Chicago cannot be topped. Kelsey and Jordan’s wedding took elements from both inside the buildings and outside in the city to create an amazing day that told a story. The soft draping inside The Builder’s BLDG was the perfect compliment to the structured pillars and balconies. Kelsey’s grand entrance was breathtaking as she took the marble stairs that were perfectly centered to the aisle.

There’s something nostalgic about getting ready in, and married near your parent’s home that has held so many treasured memories. Throw in some pictures at Leland and Fishtown and you’ve hit on all things that make Northern Michigan so wonderful.

Can you get any cooler than Katie and Will? We love our couples from Chicago that come to get married on the other side of the Lake Michigan Shore. Trying to bring your vision together from across the water is never easy, but these 2 brought it all together.

Lots of couples take photos on this iconic bridge, but few have had their literal wedding on the Blue Bridge in Grand Rapids. Lauren and Felix hit all the historic spots in downtown from the Blue Bridge, Amway Grand Plaza, the Civic Auditorium and the Grand Rapids Art Museum.
