Abby and Kevin brought the Chicago vibe to their wedding at The Fields of Michigan. The laid back, yet luxurious feel of their day had everything from Friendship bracelets, to Prada loafers.

I miss getting emails from Abby and Kevin. They probably think I’m joking, but in truth, any planner would prefer more communication from their couples. More ideas, changes and details. The more information we have, the more we can make your day feel like your own.

I loved how Abby and Kevin got ready in the morning in their own respective “glamping” areas, with friends staying on the property meandering in and out. So fun, yet casual, and a very relaxing start to the day.

When guests arrived they were greeted by a Wes Anderson vibe welcome before walking amongst the rows of blueberry bushes to the ceremony nestled in the woods.

Cass and Jean’s florals were incorporated seamlessly into the nature of the property. The linen table cloths and delicate dishes projected a tuscan family style dinner table. Friends found their seats with friendship bracelets, and hand designed menus and signage brought an air of whimsy.

Abby and Kevin slotted out so many different points in the day to walk off together, just the two of them, with the digital and film photos capturing every part of their wedding.
