Mission Point Wedding on Mackinac Island

MISSION POINT RESORT | MACKINAC ISLAND, MICHIGAN

Alexandra + Chris

I love a Mackinac Island Wedding. It is such a timeless destination and special place for you and your guests. Alexandra and Chris brought all aspects of the island to their day from the horse drawn carriage rides to the adirondack chair cocktail napkins. A Mission Point Wedding is like stepping back in time, and looking back on the day, a Mackinac Island wedding is everything that’s timeless.

Oh I get teary-eyed thinking of Alexandra and her dad’s first look! And nothing can beat that stairway moment with that dress! The historical moment of getting married in St. Anne’s Catholic Church was followed by a horse drawn carriage ride around the island for the most beautiful photo spots.

At the reception, the elegant glass bauble chargers and white florals brought the elegance of Mackinac to every detail of the space, and the view overlooking the water and the waves was simply spectacular.

All formalities aside, this group had the BEST time dancing away to Collision Six. Taking the ferry home the next day was bittersweet, and I can’t wait for Alexandra and Chris to continue to come back to the island for years to come. #MackonMac
