Mountain Wedding in Asheville North Carolina

“We’re thinking Michigan, but are also thinking about somewhere like North Carolina, would you be down?” Um. Of course.

We moved Matt and Andrea’s wedding to the green mountain sides of Asheville, North Carolina, where even they gave Beer City a run for their money.

A small distance from downtown, the Weaver House was a private zen-filled garden experience. The cocktail area was strung with lights and the bar had Prosecco on tap, how cool is that!?

The ceremony was so nice, we did it twice! After a sudden passing downpour caught us at just the wrong (or right?) moment, we moved everything inside, and started again. And hey, if you’re going to say your own vows, I want to hear them again and again.

Each table was labeled with one of the couple’s favorite Hip Hop or R&B tracks, and the bride changed into sweet silver kicks to dance the night away. I have never seen a dance floor so full for so many hours. And I’m talking everyone from groomsmen to grandpa.

They brought a little bit of Michigan with them. After brewing their own beer at Founder’s, a golden ale steeped with Rwandan Huye Mountain coffee, Lauria Euphoria was born. What a fitting name for the best night ever.
