Castle Farms | Charlevoix, MI

With all of the intricacies that go into a wedding day’s timeline, try and imagine it with the katubah, the chuppah, the sheva b’rachot and even more Jewish customs tied in! Josh and Liz made sure that all of their traditions were upheld, while also enjoying every minute of their Northern Michigan Wedding. Mazel Tov!

Jewish wedding customs create a meaningful link between past, present and future. For Josh and Liz, their venue choice of Castle Farms was the perfect location to provide multiple backdrops for each important part of this traditional Jewish wedding in Michigan.

Surrounded by their family and friends, Josh and Liz signed their personalized Ketubah, a form of Jewish marriage contract with a variety of texts that can speak on the couple’s love for one another, and their hopes for their shared future. (If you look closely, you may even spot their precious pup!)

On to the ceremony, the huppah, or wedding canopy, was beautifully adorned with help from florist Gail Vanderlaan. After the circling and breaking of the glass, Mazels were heard all around!

Towards the end of the night, it was unclear if we’d succeed in getting the guests to go home, or the moms off the dance floor! We couldn’t have asked for a better couple to share in these beautiful customs with. To Liz + Josh, L’chaim!
