Private Estate Wedding in Union Pier, Michigan

I am so thankful to have had this day as the foray back into weddings for 2021. After a year in planning hibernation, to emerge with this botanical beauty just set the tone for the entire season.
People ask after so many weddings, do I still cry. You better believe it. When didn’t I cry during this wedding? If it wasn’t Sasha and her dad’s first look, it was when Ben’s mom gave Sasha a special family keepsake (I lost it,) Ben and Sasha’s vows, or any of the other times in between. Every moment felt so special and lovingly curated.
Sasha had a vision and let me tell you, it’s not often that you can take a mood board or a Pinterest page, and recreate it to look like you want it to look, but it was pulled off flawlessly. The romantic, botanical vibes tied in everything from the seating chart to the bar signs. They foraged pampas grass to flank their ceremony and created the golden frame themselves that wrapped it all up.
Every time “Jammin” by Bob Marley comes on, I can still see Sasha in her stunner of a 2nd dress bobbing down the back porch stairs with her dad onto the dance floor, (right Spencer Penfield Photography!?)
This was the best day, in every way and was the wedding meant to rekindle that fire for all the events to come after such a long time away. Thank you a million times to Sasha and Ben and their vendor dream team for letting us be a part of the magic!
