This wedding holds such a special place in my heart. I think of Alex (and now Regan) as a part of our family. We all grew up together and our mom’s were inseparable, even to this day. It was such an amazing experience to be a part of, and help plan this most special wedding.

Laurel Hall is a backdrop like no other. Before all you Michigander’s get excited for this one-of-a-kind wedding venue, this beautiful spot is set amidst six acres of lawns and gardens in the state of Indiana. Built in 1916, it’s polished walls and stately arches create a timeless setting for a Laurel Hall wedding you’ll cherish for all your years.

With any wedding, you’re always working with a Plan A, B and Z. It’s always true that the locations that harbor the most difficult logistics, always end up becoming the most beautiful. The hard work is worth it. We went back and forth with where each piece of the wedding would take place and in the end, everything could not have come together more perfectly.

The beautiful tablescapes tied in everything from the gold flatware to the crushed blue napkins. Every detail heightened the overall design and fit in seamlessly with the look and feel of the entire day.

Having the first dance outside caught us these gorgeous images with the café lights strung behind Alex and Regan creating a soft romantic glow. They finished up the night with the Mother-Son dance to Bruno Mars, and if you have any guesses to if the rest of the family are dancing queens, just check out the ring bearers!
