Fall Wedding at The Rutledge

Every part of Marisa and Max’s wedding at The Rutledge was picture perfect. We loved how they were able to visit all the different stops on the “Grand Rapids Tour” from Aquinas to the Canopy Hotel.

We definitely have “will a pet be present on your wedding day?” on our list of questions to ask couples because our furry friends are part of the family, and clearly they love Max!

One of the things we were most excited for was the transition from cocktail hour at the Canopy to across the street for reception at The Rutledge, and that tunnel of family and friends was one of our favorite parts. The giant chalkboard at The Rutledge also has become one of our favorite pieces that gets decorated, showing off custom backdrops for the day. It was the perfect frame for these two and “how sweet it is to be loved by you!”
