Northern Michigan is home to some of the most beautiful wedding venues and the bluest of waters. Nestled right on Sleeping Bear Bay, is The Homestead – is a charming little ski resort. Kristy and AJ hit the lottery with their ceremony background – it was almost too good to true! We love when couples choose to get married on a mountaintop. The entrance up to the ceremony is even more memorable, as everyone in the wedding party arrives by ski lift.
Not only will Kristy and AJ have amazing photographs to look back on from Natalie Briana Photography, but they’ll have a special painting from their live artist Spencer Grace Art Space from their ceremony. Having a live artist at your wedding is such an unbelievable experience for everyone to witness. We were blown away!
We don’t see too many choreographed first dances, but with Kristy and AJ’s dance - it brought us to tears. Something about Annie’s Song by John Denver really brought on the water works.
