A Fall Michigan Wedding at Port393
10.21.2022
Michigan really stepped up and showed its beautiful fall colors AND gave us the warmest weather for a wedding in October. Having a fall Michigan wedding at Port393 allows you to capture everything from the changing seasons to the shores.
One of the most satisfying feelings is when your couples put their absolute trust in your business to deliver. Kerry and Trent were in the middle of an extremely busy season of work, and we really were able to take a lot off their plate and watch everything come together seamlessly.
I love returning to venues that we’ve worked at previously, because each time we step through the doors, we get to come up with new plans through seasoned eyes. At Port393, I loved that Kerry swapped the ceremony backdrop side from the greenery wall to the natural wood. It complimented the couple’s autumnal scenery.
We have seen a lot of unique unity ceremonies, but this may be my favorite. Both Trent and Kerry had vases of dirt taken from the yards of each of their childhood homes. Together, they combined them into one big pot to plant together, signifying their 2 families becoming 1.
Finally, I loved the similar points everyone touched on in their speeches. How hard working the couple is, but also how much fun they both are, and by the pictures you can plainly see, zero fun was had on this day. *wink wink
