It’s one challenge to just plan your entire wedding, but take that pressure and put it on a whole new level when you’re trying to plan it from across the country! Sarah and Tim pulled it off, even from Atlanta, and have the gorgeous photos from Julie Harmsen Photography to prove it.
The Sweet House was once the home to Women’s City Club of Grand Rapids, and most recently in 2018, was converted into a unique space specifically for events and weddings. Not only did Sarah and Tim have to plan a wedding from the south end of the county, but had to do so in a venue almost brand new to events.
But the Sweet House is no stranger to grand parties. This historic Italiante Villa was the perfect backdrop for this sweet couple’s elegant affair. From the first walk through, to the day of, you could tell everyone involved was just as excited as the bride and groom!
From Sarah’s leopard heels and Moyna MRS Beaded Clutch, to the blush pink fur crop jacket, every bridal detail was on point. After stopping at downtown’s LOVE statue, the couple exchanged vows at First United Methodist, against the beautiful brightly lit backdrop coming through the cathedral windows.
From the first phone call, to the texts that followed, we couldn’t be more content to be a part of Sarah and Tim’s day!
